A few steps away from the noisy and busy street you enter in another world! Lovely decorated and silent as it would be in another place. Such a bathroom we have never had, it is worth to see it. Yennie, the host, takes time to speak to you. We enjoyed a tour organized by Yennie: with the bikes and with the boat for 4h trough the country side.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, they took great care of the guests — thank you, chị Văn! A beautiful place to rest, especially for the glorious Mekong river sunsets. Great value for money. Fruit provided with every meal (the staff will advise you that there is generally a long wait time). Loved the privacy and peace of the river cottage.

I enjoyed my stay at Phuong Thao Homestay and on the beautiful island An Binh so much that I extended it to over 2 weeks!  The homestay manager, his wife and sister - who speak very good English - together with the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This a very charming, characterful and attractive property with beautiful lush gardens. It's old but has been restored to a high standard. The (English speaking) owner was very quick to respond to any requests we had. We particularly liked the outdoor bathroom. It's a large property which does cater mainly to tour groups, including traditional local music in the evening. We were invited into the kitchen to help cook our evening meal which was great fun.

Quiet and clean property, with well-maintained rooms equipped with everything you need. Motorbikes can be rented, which is recommended for reaching the city center and exploring the surroundings; bicycles are also available at the property. Very friendly staff. Excellent spa. Highly recommended.

It was a good decision; I enjoyed the peace and quiet I needed, offered in all the facilities of Paris and Cafe hotel. This definitely added to the excellent and helpful service of the staff and young couple owner. Located around 44 km from Ninh Kieu Pier, the hotel with free WiFi is also 46 km away from Vincom Plaza Hung Vuong. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests. I had a balcony room, and this was far from an ordinary hotel room. Incredibly spacious room, with a proper balcony with complete privacy thanks to the roof below. The light on the balcony worked. (Not common in Vietnam). Very comfortable duvet and pillows. Big fridge, kettle, beers, soft drinks and noodles in the room (extra cost of course), but free coffee tea and some water. Proper desk in addition to a table and chairs. Superb WiFi. Big bathroom, where the washbasin was fitted in a dry end of the room, so you don't need to get wet if you only want to wash your hands and brush your teeth. Add to this, friendly helpful staff who spoke a bit of English and were excellent with Google translate when needed. I couldn't have wished for better. The Mekong Star was a star. They also had a coffee shop downstairs. Superb location very close to the bus station.
