Very comfortable and cosy cottage with generous supplies of basic items - coffee pods, tea, sugar, oil, etc and wood for the fire. Lovely views of bay and sunset and easy walking distance to beach. It was a great place to stay for our family catch-up. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely holiday home. Its tucked away on quiet road, with the forest behind and views of the sea out to the front. Loads of space inside, with the main house having a large open plan kitchen/diner/living room, two bedrooms, and a split bathroom, with toilet and a second sink separated. This was ideal for us as two couples, and if we needed extra space, the garden annexe, which has another bedroom and bathroom, worked very well. Plenty of parking, and Port Arthur is a short drive away, with some small grocery shops and various eateries. Kitchen was well stocked, decent size fridge, nice showers, and a welcome log burner in the main room.

Great house in a great spot! Beautiful views. Fabulous outdoor deck. Comfy beds. Very clean and well supplied. All the little things had been thought about - enough cutlery & crockery, shampoo, conditioner, oil, S&P, cling wrap, alfoil, dishwashing soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, etc. Made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The cabin had everything you could need for a week’s stay. Our purpose was to try to catch sight of the aurora which we did on 5 of our 7 nights with one night spectacular. There was no need to venture any further than the deck. A short drive to Sorell brings you to supermarkets and a bus into Hobart $1.20 for concessions so no parking hassles. Port Arthur was an easy drive for a great day out. The whole area is on tank water so it’s a good opportunity to practice your sustainability. A lot of thought has been put into making the most of what water is available. We spent a very comfortable week in the cabin and highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few days or a few weeks in a beautiful location.
