The hostess was super welcoming and had great tips for me to do. Breakfast was varied and very nice altogether. The location was beautiful and quiet. The house played very well into its heritage of 250 years.

Wonderful service, great food, lovely decorated rooms and bathrooms -- and extremely accomodating management. I had made a booking mistake, booked one night too early. Hotel manager greenlighted applying the payment to our actual stay instead of charging us more. We're very pleased and will be glad to return to this place.

Possibly the quirkiest place we've ever stayed. Literally on bales of straw in a hayloft above a carpenters workshop. The host "Kurt" was larger than life and his hospitality knows no bounds. The weather was poor so he opened his home to us. We ate great food with fresh veggies from his garden. We played darts (Kurt won of course) and then went outside when the rain stopped and sat around the fire with beer and wine in hand and laughed and joked into the small hours. If you like all modern conveniences then this won't be for you. But if you have a sense of adventure and want to stay somewhere completely crazy with an amazing host, I'd thoroughly recommend it. One of the best stays ever without question.

There was noone and I spoke to them before I booked. They didn’t send me a door code and there was noone there on the time of the approved check in time. I called them the whole day on the day of travel and they were unreachable so I had to book somewhere else. The property didn’t even react to messages a day later or the day after I also send them to get a doorcode like spoken about on the phone before I booked. Now I have to wait five days for booking.com to look into it and hopefully send my money back. I wished I had booked this via Paypal for buyer protection because this is just bullshit. Luckily the locals were really nice and helped me to get around and book somewhere else.

Perfect location. Remarkable architecture of the hotel. The staff is very good and responsive. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean.There are two fast elevators and we didn't have to wait. The roof terrace has a beautiful view at any time of the year. It is convenient for smokers. )
