Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Anji

I liked everything, the person running the hotel was so helpful. It was a long way from shops and restaurants but he took us in his car which gave him extra pocket money save calling taxi.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at Arcadia. The location comes with great views and a quiet calm, there are walking trails starting literally next to the house. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable. The service was friendly and relaxed, but also attentive. The communication with the Arcadia team was clear and easy, especially with the dedicated wechatgroup created only for us. We all enjoyed the good food we were served, and the children had great fun making noodles with the chef. The area has lots to offer, even though we only took shorter walks. The bamboo forest is a surreal experience. I cannot recommend Arcadia enough.

Daisy, the hotel manager, was wonderful. She was always here for us and helped us where she could. The food is great! They also made sure to reduce food waste to a minimum which is great, especially in China.

The hotel is Nicely furnished. Our hostess Jk was lovely and when out of her way to help us. Jk cooked us some fabulous meals asked us what we would like. She was friendly and spoke good English. We visited at a quiet time of year so she kindly drove us to a few tourists destinations and was able to ask questions on our behalf in the shops etc.

We reached this hotel by car from Shanghai (hired a driver). We were there during a Chinese bank holiday, yet it was still very peaceful. Some of the main tourist spots were busier, but it’s easy to avoid those if you prefer. We didn’t mind, and everyone was incredibly friendly. The hotel area is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and bamboo forests. There are many activities available, and you can book them directly through the hotel: walking, hiking, cycling, rafting, paragliding, and more. The hotel also offers bicycles for rent. Nearby, there are a few restaurants. While there’s no Western cuisine in the area, you won’t need it— the local restaurants serve fantastic, fresh food. The owners are very friendly and patient, even with our poor Mandarin skills :) Your host can help you choose the best places to eat. The hotel itself is exceptional. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The beds are perfect, and the noise level is quite low. There are charming outdoor seating areas where you can enjoy drinks, coffee, ice cream, and more from the small bar. Breakfast is delicious, too. Bottles of water or free to grab. The hosts are truly outstanding—friendly, relaxed, and always willing to help. Whether it’s taking you to scenic spots, booking activities, or drawing personalised walking and cycling maps. Their laid-back approach made us feel at home. For us, the hotel and its surroundings offered everything we wanted: wonderful hosts, delicious food, tranquility, a relaxed vibe, breathtaking nature, and plenty of activities.

An incredibly friendly hostess with adorable children runs a beautiful accommodation in the picturesque village of Moganchang. I wholeheartedly recommend booking a room here. The rooms are very neat and clean. If the weather is nice, I will definitely return!
