We stayed at the resort for the long weekend and it was amazing. Beautiful location, delicious breakfast and extremely nice and welcoming staff. Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

Once you meet the Dutch owners, you will understand everything. Because the best hosts are the ones with passion and interest in their guests. We got a super warm welcome, got to try some nice authentic Dutch drinks and spent the first night chatting with both hosts that are absolutely lovely and super interesting. And of course, everything was perfect. There's a ton of entertainment available, including table football and billiard. The rooms are cosy, but spacious, decorated in the Dutch-like maritime style. The breakfast was also very nice for such a small bed&breakfast and actually included fresh crêpes, homemade butter and jams, coffee, juices, milk and delicious crunchy rolls (definitely a highlight!). From this place, you can easily access ski slopes at Krkonose mountains or visit Adrspachy nature park within ~30 minutes. And it's a great place to stay in summer too because there is a jacuzzi and swimming pool available, and you can barbeque and explore the local nature. And that's exactly what we're going to do again next summer! Thanks for everything guys, hope you'll keep enjoying life in the Czech Republic.

The place is truly unique. Very good base for both skiing and hiking trails. It is really a comfortable place to relax after physical activity. You can sit by the fireplace in the evening :) And the host provides everything you need and is very kind and helpful.

Bouda Krakonos was very cozy after the reconstruction, we liked that everything was wooden - that gives it a nice close-to-nature style. The staff were just AMAZING. Immediately after we arrived, we were given the key to our room and instructions and everyone was so nice and welcoming - we felt like visiting a family. There were two waiters, both looking after us nicely, the lady-cook who was coming out of the kitchen often (when free of course) chatting with guests and the rest of the staff was also amazing. We had a lot of laugh with everyone. You could tell the entire staff are like family, the atmosphere was just exceptionally warm and friendly (yet respectful). The food was simply delicious. We had the soup “kyselo” and the “potato pancakes” and both were like heaven in mouth. We also had a dog with us and everyone loved her, too.

The apartment is very clean and spaisous. Comfortable beds, very well kept to the level that it seems lately renovated. Gorgeous views.. Good location near attractions, staff is friendly. With additional cost they also offer laundry services. We really enjoyed and we highly recommended. Best value for money.

I especially liked the place. The house is neat, convenient layout. Plus - they are pet friendly. The staff both in the restaurant and in the apartments are helpful.

Location is in a nice an quite place. Breakfast is well equipped with different food...but NO breakfast before 7am. also no coffee before 7am.
