We currently live in Europe and we are in Europe to travel and we travel a lot and this is one of the nicest places we have stay. The staff were great, the building is gorgeous, the food was yummy and the service was excellent. It is not far off the express way and there is a garage just around the corner where you can fill up.

A lovely German family welcomed us into their home. A beautiful bedroom, with a large comfortable bed, and access to a dream bathroom. The house is set amongst woodlands near a small village. It is an easy 25 minutes by car to drive into Hamburg, where we visited Miniatur World. Parking there was $2 per hour, and it is open until midnight. Think about having a tour of the river, but keep in mind the tides or you will miss out on the best bit. Plus keep in mind; on some river cruises, the operator only speaks German.
