Marisa, Vanessa, and Vladimir are super kind hosts. Casa Marissa offers excellent rooms and very comfy beds! The restaurant should be awarded a Michelin star, superb dinner, and atmosphere at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also provide great advice on tourist places to visit. Overall, we had a great experience at Rioja's San Asencio. We will return!!

Despite our late evening arrival, the manager provided a warm and informative welcome, offering us a comprehensive tour of the facilities and ensuring we were familiar with all available amenities and contact details. The hotel maintains an exceptional standard of cleanliness, and I would be genuinely surprised if anyone found fault with it. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were impeccably quiet, allowing for a restful and undisturbed night’s sleep. The bathrooms were beautifully designed, featuring a spacious walk-in rain shower and an ample supply of high-quality toiletries. The bar and lounge area exuded charm and provided a delightful setting for relaxation. The following morning, breakfast was a true feast, offering a generous and satisfying selection that kept us full for hours. The hotel’s location is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat to unwind and recharge. The local town, just a short 2–3 minute walk away, offered an excellent dining experience with outstanding food, impeccable service, and remarkable value for money. I highly recommend this hotel and will undoubtedly be returning in the future.
