The hotel was laid out in “stages” over the gradients of the hills with clusters of rooms here and there. We had to walk a short way down the hill to access reception and the main restaurant. We stayed in the tower part (circa 10th century) so were taken with our luggage in a golf buggy to the door. Accessing the pool was out onto a quiet road and down a passage. None of this was an issue at all and added to the charm. The most outstanding facility was the drop off/pick up service to the meeting point in the town. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes after a quick WhatsApp message to the hotel, it was like having our own personal taxi service. The roads up to the hotel were many and steep so this was an absolute luxury! The room was beautiful in an understated way with stone floors and no fussy decor. Excellent air con and a very comfortable bed. Lovely attractive pool area but quite small and not much shade, no parasols. Without exception, all the staff were efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A stay in this historic hotel is highly recommended.

There was such a warm vibe to this place. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and calm. Considering the bad news that I had received only three days prior to arriving, and despite not having the energy to partake in the meditation, I still walked away from La Curandera feeling somewhat emotionally healed and at peace with myself. Aside from the wonderful staff and their affectionate dog, Zchun or June (I hope I got that right), the food was fresh and delicious, and the room was exactly as promised on Booking.com - in fact, it exceeded my expectations. When I return to Ibiza, I'll be returning here.
