All better than expected! Since it has been possible an early check in the host informed me well in advance. At arrival a lot of very useful informations were provided, about the menus of the tavernas in all the nearby villages(it matters alot when you seek for authentic meals in an mostly touristic area) or to escape from tourist traps beaches. Katerina&Fotis are real old school Cretan hosts with those kind of approach that dissappears in Greece as days go by. Studio very clean with all equipment(kitchen included) that ones should find in a studio(sometimes things are missing even from our personal homes). Very nice pool kept spotless. Full of trees garden that serves also as a private parking lot and this provide the shadow needed to keep cool our cars. Very good oriented building regarding the well known usually NW Plakias winds. Last but not the least a word about the comfort provided by the bed mattress, not usual for this kind of accommodation. Huge value for money if you seek the positive aspects and know very well your expectations.

I stayed for 7 nights there with my family and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and taken care of and giving us the perfect space to unwind And live that vacation vibe. Personally I loved the yard with the hammocks to relax early in the morning or late at night. Our favorite part: the hosts. It felt for us like family friends that we were visiting. Very kind and warmhearted 🫶🏼

The room is simple, but perfectly clean, I like especially the soft bed sheets! It was hard to leave the balcony that was directly on the sea. Even if it is surrounded by restaurants and cafés, all I could hear during the night were the waves. The shower is indeed rather small as mentioned in other reviews, but big enough to shower comfortably.

Kalypso resort was such a surprise for us! It's a breathtaking place through rocks and deep sea...we loved it! The staff had a very kind behavioral approach and made us feel at home! We appreciated it a lot and definitely we'll be back! It was just an exploration this time! Weather unexpectedly nice! We participated in a greek night event as well, we loved it! We booked the apartment for the view and it definitely did not disappoint. The apartment was very comfortable and perfect for a family of 4. A lovely and peaceful location that is a short drive to beaches and nearby villages. Petros was a kind and responsive host - and he makes delicious Greek coffee. Wish we had booked more than 2 nights - would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Petros!
