The Blue Door is absolute gem! We loved everything about this house. It was very spacious so the family could spread out, and it was great to have 3 bathrooms. Its in a very safe, quaint, walkable location to shopping, coffee, and dining. The house was immaculate upon arrival and very inviting. I loved and appreciated the wonderful communication with Rachel. I highly recommend the Blue Door and wish every vacation rental was this nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Our second visit to this rather magical place, where the welcome is genuine and warm in excellent rooms with great WiFi, a fabulous restaurant, excellent facilities. and excellent parking. We were greeted like family by "Jersey" the barman and welcomed to an excellent room by Eileen and her team. Nicely positioned for the Ring of Kerry and the drive round Slea Head. The absolute icing on the cake, was the kindness of the lady on reception who helped to clean the sand from many beaches, out of the footwells on the hire-car, with her Henry Hoover! Service absolutely above and beyond kind.

This was a very adorable boutique property in the down town area of Killarney. Extremely walkable. Next to pubs and food. Such a charming place. Highly recommend staying in the main hotel and not the town house. I just think the main building was so cool and historic.

It was brilliant for our 2 large dogs, good areas for dog walking. Plenty of car parking space. Lovely pellet fire for those chilly nights. If you want a good spot and have more than 1 dog, then Teachín is the place for you.

such an unique place, very old school, like being on a school trip at a cottage. great location. so much equipment in the kitchen. desk 24/7. no issues with staff or other people.
