We had the most wonderful stay at BirdScapes Homestay. We were warmly welcomed by Abin and his family, who cooked great meals for us and took us on boat trips. The room is very confortable and has a nice view on the backwaters. We are grateful to have had the chance to stay here for two nights and strongly recommend!

You need some form of transportation to get around. Other than that the owners are super friendly, you can order food. The garden is super nice and the whole backwaters area is really pretty. I recommend checking out the bird sanctuary very early in the morning. He also offer to use the boat for 1000rupees/hr

It's an amazing place. We really liked to stay here, super nice hosts. It's 200m from the beach, where you can find lots of great restaurants. The place has an AC in the rooms, and the rooms are quite big. The bed is comfy and huge. I'd definitely come back any time.

Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace.
