Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch. For future guests: you can believe the fantastic reviews here, they’re really true!

Really friendly host in a beautiful location. Borgarnes is a great base to get out and discover this part of Iceland. The accommodation is a real home from home place to stay.

Very good value - we had a 22h layover in Iceland, and we were able to rent a car and whole trailer cottage for cheaper than staying at a hotel closer to airport. It was an easy drive with nice views. Great place to sleep before next days flight - we also drove a little more to look at views in the evening. Cozy and functional, with a view to mountain tops.

First of all, I can't praise Bjarni enough: communication was smooth and he send clear instructions before our arrival, making sure we knew everything we needed. Secondly, the location is just stunning. You're isolated and completely surrounded by nature, a lovely and romantic escape from the city. Loved it. Last but not least, the actual accommodation. It was simply delightful. Equipped with everything you need, comfortable, beautiful view on the balcony over the area so when you're in the hot tub, you can get lost in the beauty of the landscape and the outside shower was absolutely incredible! Overall, a great stay. Made my birthday celebration more speciale.

The location is one of my favourite, very cozy atmosphere in the hotel, very nice design. We got a cozy, very clean room with amazing view. The bed was really really comfortable and we were happy with the tea and coffee offer in the room as well. The design overall the building is very pleasant.
