My stay at Tea Escape was genuinely memorable. The views are stunning and create such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious every day, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily return and definitely recommend it to others.

We had a great time at Liyara Villas. The area was quiet, peaceful, very close to a Buddhist temple. The apartment was confortable, very clean. The hosts were really kind and helpful - they prepared dinner for us, as all the restaurants were closed due to Public Holiday. Thank You so much for a fantastic time at Gampola!

Lovely family and beautiful home, we arrived to a lovely cup of tea which was a nice touch. Incredible dinner and breakfast made by the lovely owner, everything was amazing. She even showed us some old memorabilia from the family history which was super interesting. Hot shower and comfortable bed. What more could you want!?

We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

The guesthouse is situated in a beautiful, hilly, slightly mountainous landscape. I drove there in a 110cc Honda Vio. I traveled to various destinations on my scooter. The owner is happy to give you some suggestions on where to go. There are temples, waterfalls, and mountain viewpoints to visit. An elephant sanctuary is also not too far away, as is Kandy with its botanical gardens and the Temple of the Tooth. 5-30 km. The temperature at night, around 22°C, is ideal for sleeping even without air conditioning. There is a fan, which I didn't need. It can get hot here during the day, but it's nowhere near as humid and oppressive as on the coast. My room was nice and clean, with a private bathroom. The view from my window looked out onto the garden. Around the house, you have a further view of the valley. You can set up your breakfast table outside so that you have shade and a beautiful view of the valley at the same time. The meal, with rice, various vegetables, and eggs, was extremely tasty and inexpensive. You are welcome to express your wishes.I, along with the owner, restored an old, overgrown spring and bathing area. It's about 40 meters away. It's still very rustic. It's about 2 meters long and 2 meters wide, made of brick, and chest-deep. It has a naturally uneven rocky and sandy bottom.I came as a stranger and left as a friend.
