The room is very modern with ac and ceiling fan. It was clean and furnished in a stylish way. We loved the view from the balcony to the train tracks train passing by in the early morning). The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was amazing. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We liked it that it is a bit outside of kandy (15mins by tuktuk), so it was very quiet.

This is the most wonderful family we have met on the entire island, and their home makes you feel like you are with family and at home. Such wonderful people, they were kind to us and treated us with great love as if we were children! And the food that my wife cooks is simply better than any restaurant! We left there with tears in our eyes, and we will definitely come back! The tears were from happiness and endless gratitude for such a welcome and such support that they gave us! The house itself is amazing, located right in the mountains and the air and the views from the balcony were so harmonizing and setting us up for the most wonderful journey and feelings! With the warmth and love that they gave us, we go even more fulfilled and happier! And the house itself is delightful, so many details and history in it! I recommend everyone to get into this heavenly, amazing house filled with love and light!

Beautiful home! Gorgeous garden and so majestic inside. The staff went above and beyond to make you comfortable during your stay, and I highly recommend the cooking class they offer - it was fantastic and a wonderful way to spend the evening!

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. There was hot water and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was delicious and there were so many options which you could choose from. Location is great, really quiet and pretty but only 15 mins away from the city and tuktuks are very cheap. Sri was so welcoming and willing to help us with anything that we needed. Would very much recommend!

The cottage was cozy, surrounded by serene greenery. Facilities were good. The host was super helpful. We were delayed but the host drove us and helped us get to the Kandy cultural show on time, despite the very heavy traffic. Breakfast was also delicious.

10/10 on all accounts. This homestay was our favourite accomodation in Sri Lanka by far!! With an amazing view, lovely, clean bedrooms (with a really comfy bed), and the best hosts you could ask for, we would recommend this place to anyone! Definitely will make your trip in Kandy, and if you can spend a few days Vipul will happily do tours to local areas which I can only imagine are excellent!
