Beautiful nature, location in old Coconut estate, lot's of animals, including wild boars and hornbills. The nature however comes with a price - it's far from any settlement, so either opt in for their dinner (very tasty but paid extra) or eat on the way. The personnel was helpful, the pool was clean and accessible even late at night, there was a lot of extra facilities which we didn't use but they are there (pool, speakers, bar, hammock etc). The bed was equipped with big mosquito net. Also besides AC there is a ceiling fan, which some may prefer. We hope to come again one day for a longer stay.

We had a great stay at Silver Hill Ecovillage and really wished we could have stayed longer. The place is right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by banana and papaya trees – such a beautiful and unique spot. The food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner. Everything was fresh, tasty, and there was plenty of it – so come hungry! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We can totally recommend this place if you’re looking for something special and memorable

the house is amazing and so the location. The quiet and tropical coconut based landscape makes you feel in a dream. The housekeeper is extremely supportive and friendly and the food is very very good, you can chose different plates, but go for the local ones, you won't regret!

The hotel is located in a scenic location bordering a beautiful Paddy field. We were able to reach the place in 10 minutes from the Kurunegala Clock Tower. The tuktuk charged us two dollars for it. The staff welcomed us very warmly and prepared everything we needed. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Chinese food at affordable prices. They are very tasty. But a bit spicy. They charged us a very reasonable price for the bottle of wine we got at this restaurant, which had both local and foreign liquor. They also provided free laundry service, and they were kind enough not to charge us anything for morning tea. Although there are a few things that need to be improved, we are indebted to them for providing us with a fair and valuable accommodation for the money they charged us.

Amazing place, cozy with a view of a banana tree farm. We saw so many beautiful birds and the elephants were just a walk away. Host was helpful, understanding and lovely. This is the best place if you enjoy nature. Thousands of fireflies in their own garden was the HUGE plus!
