Great stay for us. The team that run the hotel were really good. Swimming on the Panama beach every morning before breakfast was magic, the food was great. The room facilities were great as well. This is the nearest hotel resort to the Kumana National Park entrance. Few mins drive to the Arugam Bay Surfing beach. We will be back!

Private location, extremely helpful and polite owner and staff, authentic Sri Lanka beach life vibe, everything was clean and tidy, Iroshana helped us with just about anything we could think off from arranging breakfast, barbeque dinner, recommending surf bays and trips to conversations about Sri Lanka ways of living. Absolutely charming place to stay, very specious and has sweet green area with mango try and palmas. Strongly recommend both for families and remoters , Internet connection is good. Also has all the necessities and utilities. Host Rilu will know to take care of all the needs and deeds. 10/10

It’s such a special place and we will definitely be back! The staff is very helpful and accomodating. The area is just unreal, you can spot elephants at sunset and sunrise and there are horses roaming around at all times. The rooms are spacious and they all have balconies facing the beautiful lake

We stayed three wonderful nights in Tropicana Home Stay. We have traveled around Sri Lanka and stayed in many hotels and guesthouses. This is one of the nicest and cleanest rooms we have had. Also with excellent Internet. It is a small family owned guesthouse with a small supermarket right next doors. The family feeling makes it very cost and accomodating. The owner cocked us a barbecue on our last evening. We can highly recommend this home stay.

You will truly relax here. The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3
