We stayed at Green Leaves for one night prior to starting a tour around Sri Lanka. Anushka and his family are very welcoming and approachable and we are grateful to have been welcomed to their home. In the afternoon Anushka took us to a nearby monastery to watch the sunset behind the mountains, and to have tea with a local family. The next day we went to visit Ambuluwawa tower before travelling to Negombo. The mud chalet is very clean and tidy, with AC and mosquito nets. Anushka and his family prepared food for us which was very tasty. Overall we had a fantastic time, and staying here was a great start to our trip. Anushka and his family were very helpful when we had some questions, and taught us about the local customs and history

We stayed in Mawanella at Mystay for just one night, however we wish we could stay longer! A spacious, comfortable room with multiple areas in the room and outside to relax. Friendly, accommodating host family, made us delicious food, and showed us around town.

This place was absolutely incredible — a true hidden gem in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived until the very last goodbye, everything was perfect. A little bit outside the hustle of kandy in a lovely quuet area,the host is amazingly helpfull and went above and beÿond to help us. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms and house have a lovely vibe. Highly recommend as a tranquil little reststop betqeen travels .

Gaya is the best host ever, taking me on excursions and to medical appointments (acupuncture nearby was great and so affordable)cooking for me (ask her to make her delicious salad) and providing this elegant space to relax in. Her friend Samira provided transportation to and from the airport and for a day trip into the hills where tea is grown. Such beautiful scenery. Thanks, Gaya!
