A warm and humorous place close to nature. Here, Hari can take you to do yoga, take you on daily jungle adventures, and cook for you, hahaha 😌. His family is also lovely and will take care of everything for you. The jungle is amazing, and I really love it there. You can see many different wild animals, such as rhinos, deer, and various kinds of birds. I hope you can spot a tiger! The houses here are all built by Hari himself—he’s really impressive! The stay is also very comfortable ☺️. You can lie on the floor and bask in the sun, listen to music in a hammock, and just relax here. It’s so soothing.

Charming family, made me feel at home. They took care of me as if I were a family member, served delicious homemad meals and made me long to return to this amazing place. Manoj is a great and passionate guide, did his best to show me all the beauty of Chitwan. It was very hard for me to leave his homestay, I will definitely come back again.

We loved our stay! Beds were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the hosts were so lovely! It was so convenient having Bishnu as our safari guide and having options of jeep, boat, and walking safaris. Unreal experience.

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! I didn‘t know what it means living together in a community but now I know it. I experienced the jungle safari with the jeep and an amazing, english speaking guide, doing some bicycling with the cycles of community members enjoying the sunset at the agriculture, meeting students on the way to school, doing some fishing and collecting snails in the river, eating local food and dancing with the women group. I also enjoyed drinking the clean and refreshing water and taking a shower at the chwadi while talking to the community. The friendly and helpful staff is preparing delicious food by using regional and fresh products.

In Tara guesthouse I found a real family who made me feel like home! The place is gorgeous. I had a huge room and bathroom with hot water, fan, mosquito net and fantastic views, from the balcony. Everything is very clean and you also have a tropical garden to relax and to eat as they also serve delicious homemade food. They can arrange for you all kind of trips in the jungle as well as bus tickets except the elephant ride which obviously is UNETHICAL and we don' t support it. All the above in the best price and with plenty of love! I will be back to Chitwan very soon and one reason is to meet again those wonderful people.

Green Mansions Jungle Resort is peaceful and quiet. Such a nice place to visit away from the hustle and bustle in Kathmandu. The staff were so kind and helpful. I could not recommend it highly enough. I went on a reserved jungle safari with Dev and he was amazing. He answered all my questions and took some incredible photographs for me through his binoculars. If you go on the jungle safari ask for Dev, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again to everyone at the resort. I’ve had an experience I shall never forget.
