It was really ideal, especially after strenuous treks.The owner couple is really endearing and listens to your wishes: they get up to prepare a full Americano breakfast with fresh Peruvian fruits at 5:45 a.m. to allow you to take the first transport to the terminal.They offered me a warmer room because it was exposed to the sun and quieter on the garden side, in addition to a hot water bottle to warm my feet.They also love to travel and are very curious about all countries.

We liked everything about the place: spacious room, hot shower, a lot of blankets - so we felt always warm. The staff is also friendly. Attention to the details in the decorations. A lot of daylight.

Beautiful courtyard and upstairs deck with a wonderful view. Owners are very friendly, they even met us at the bus terminal, and an excellent breakfast in the morning, including banana crepes. Avery nice stay, and an excellent value for the money.

I loved my experience at Mama vivis. They take good care of you when you stay there and help to organize excursions. Loved the hot pools and the authentic rural experience. There's no wifi, but I got very good mobile data reception with claro. They cook you very good (to large for me) meals for an additional but reasonable charge.
