The food, the variety at breakfast are exceptional, and ordered so delightfully. The landscape is mesmerizing, and the restaurant opens up to that picturesque delight. The dinner is elegant and so tasty, serving something also for vegan. The beds are comfy, not too soft, and the room is spacy and in style of the old mansion, well kept and clean. Took a horseback ride in the vineyard olives and cork trees, made my heart light and in joy.

Set in a very quiet location at the edge of a wooded area, and easily reached by car from Lisbon airport. Note that intersection leading to it from the main road can be easily missed! We stayed in one of the wooden bungalows, where we were served an excellent breakfast in the morning. Basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. If arriving late at night one would need to provide own tea or coffee. But there was a bottle of wine in the fridge. In the morning after breakfast Mr. Manuel give a very informative / interactive talk about birds of prey!

We stayed at Casa do Limoeiro for four nights as a couple in the spacious family room—a beautifully converted loft that comfortably sleeps five—and couldn’t have asked for more: everything was spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and incredibly peaceful, giving us the best sleep we’ve had in ages. The fast internet and cable TV made our downtime even more enjoyable, and the charming host made us feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and while there wasn’t an iron in the room, it seemed easy enough to request one. With free on-street parking, a Solinca gym just up the road, and vibrant Quinta do Conde full of shops, restaurants, and supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl, and local Portuguese brands within walking distance or a short drive, this property truly exceeded our expectations—and the price was unbeatable.

We booked this room for our first night to rest after our long journey to Lisbon, Portugal. Wanting to stay somewhere outside the city and 'off the beaten track', somewhere different, near the coast, to enjoy nature, history and good seafood restaurants. Quinta de Sao Filipe did not disappoint! Antonio was waiting for us to arrive and gave us the warmest welcome! He first showed us to our comfortable room at the back of the property, which had been part of the farm years ago. Then he walked us around the grounds, where there's a field with two donkeys at the back, then to a hillside patio at the front with stunning views across the bay. The bed and linens were superbly comfortable, crisp and clean and although there was no air conditioning we slept so well with the windows open, enjoying the gentle hilltop breezes. Inside our room was a small fridge, that Antonio had stocked with everything we needed for a delicious continental breakfast, local bread, cheese, sliced meats, fresh strawberries, yoghurts, orange juice & fresh milk. A kettle, china and cutlery, table cloth and placemats were also provided. This was a lovely surprise (not requested) and included in the price of our room. The next morning we set up the little table on our private hillside patio, made our coffee/tea, then enjoyed an idyllically quiet breakfast surrounded by lovely trees filled with birdsong, soaking up the beautiful view over the countryside with the sea beyond. We even had a visit from a noisy green parrot! This one night stay was a perfect introduction to beautiful Portugal and it's friendly and hospitable people! Antonio also recommended a few local restaurants, including his favourite (Pinga Amor), the one we chose, which served outstanding seafood and was filled with locals. The staff there were also notably hospitable and attentive. An additional gold star, which made our first night so memorable!

I liked everything. The house has several radiators, so you can turn them on in the winter. There's a large bathroom, a large garden, and a very quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Me and my partner like everything about this place! Great location, great place and lovely owners! We would stay longer if we could for sure! We really enjoyed everything about it! The owner welcomed us with tea, which was very refreshing on a hot summer day. Absolutely recommend it!
