We loved our stay at this place! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of things for kids to play with and enjoy. The space is big and comfortable — we were able to park one car inside the property and another right in front of the door without any problem. The village where the house is located is very calm and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and kind, always attentive and very nice with us. We highly recommend it, especially for those traveling with children.

The property is beautiful, like staying in a small stately home. It is really well equipped, from the fully equipped kitchen to the huge towels for both inside and out, everything has been thought off. The outdoor kitchen with sink, fridge & bbq make life easy and the spa which is housed in a different building just made the holiday feel luxurious, not to mention the huge pool. Nita looked after us really well and yet was unobtrusive, thank you. Also, the delightful cafe is less than 5 minutes away and the supermarkets less than 10 minutes by car. We loved the remoteness of the house and the dark skies at night, the stars were amazing.

Staff is very attentive. The property is extremely well arranged and comfortable. We were fortunate to be in the junior suite and the room was fabulous. The land is beautiful and sunsets idyllic. The gym is also great. Overall, our stay felt incredibly serene and relaxing. Highly recommend bike tours around.

Beautiful location and very peaceful place, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Feels like a quiet retreat in a stunning natural setting. Staff are really helpful and kind, and because the place is small, we got the chance to interact with other guests and the owners too, who were wonderful people.

I loved my stay at Solar Dos Frades! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. I was able to check in early and also chill at the pool past our checkout time. The breakfast was really nice too! We had fresh cake and orange juice and even scrambled eggs for our family every morning. A proper Alentejo stay. Very relaxing. There isn't lots to do in the town and some restaurants were closed but if you're after a relaxing family getaway then this is it! Will definitely be coming back.
