Each day we looked forward to Anna’s breakfast – not just a meal, but an experience prepared with love, setting the tone for the entire day. Alex became our invaluable guide – his tips and advice led us to places and moments we would never have discovered on our own. And then came the evenings… moments when we sank into a lounge chair and simply gazed at the stars as they lit up over the ocean. It was a time of pure peace, harmony, and connection with this magical place. Villa Anna is not just accommodation – it is an experience that etches itself deep into your heart. Ana is a wonderful host. She is responsive, warm and such a beautiful, generous and gracious person. She takes care of her guests in such an authentic way. Ana's husband and daughter are so charming . We felt so much at home and I miss Ana already. The apartment is in a historical estate of Ana's family with beautiful gardens and a private chapel. The apartment is spacious, carefully designed with attention to the period of the estate and has beautiful restored furniture. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms moden and bright. There is plenty of relaxation and storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as a basket of Azorean food which was so kind. There was also oil, vinegar , salt, coffee, tea, and spices. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and impeccable. We were very sad to leave. We recommend highly..

It’s an old property with history, from 1888. It’s a part of Rural Accomodation Association, so you get real experience. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful people, whatever you need they will try their best. House was great! If you like original furntiture and design, this is the place. But it’s still modern - you have fridge, microwave, washing machine, kettle etc. and warm water in the shower doesn’t end. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is in a beautiful pool area with everything you need for breakfast - stuff for sandwiches, local cheese and butter, bacon, cereal and fresh pressed juice. Pool area has a lot of beach chairs and there’s huge bathroom with showers to take a bath after swim (and also there are outside showers). There’s also a terrace from which you can see even better the ocean. On the property there’s also a vineyard and you can taste the wine if you are at a good time. It’s also nicely located to explore whole island and there was no problem to park outside the house.

Honestly the best experience I've had on Booking.com yet and also the island of São Miguel. The property has a special atmosphere, with a beautiful garden and birdsong whilst having a delicious breakfast. Owner and staff were lovely and very welcoming. Nice studio with all you need. Super close to the airport (15min walk) and still close to the center for having dinner :) Only been there for a short night before catching the flight to Santa Maria but everything was perfect and according to our expectations. We would come back again!
