This is a perfect hotel for us when we want to spend the night near the shopping centre by the Norwegian border. Rooms are no nonsense and practical. Car parking is free and close to the room. Beds are comfortable and there is a nice little seating area. Breakfast was excellent, especially the hot food.

Boasting lake views, Ylserod Camping features accommodation with pool with a view, an open-air bath and a garden, around 17 km from Daftöland.

A friendly welcome from the staff in reception. We stayed in cabin 10 which was basic but comfy and clean. We had everything we needed for our stopover. The facilities were just feet away which was really handy. Nice and clean with spacious showers. There is a shop on site and a cafe. The pool looked ok but we didn't try it unfortunately due to us leaving early for the Norwegian border. The site is by the lake which was lovely. Nice and quiet. We'd definitely come again.

Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away.

We had no idea what to expect from a "pirate hotel", but it was above any expectation! Besides that, it was a wonderfull room, with big balcony, big big bed and all very clean and "piratty". In detail!

Scandic Laholmen is 200 metres from Strömstad Station. Its popular restaurant offers views of Koster Fjord and the Skagerrak Sea. Free WiFi is available.
