What an amazing, genuine experience! House Uric offers hospitality, authenticity and a lovely insight in the farm life. Horse riding, hiking, skiing, amazing food, produced right there on the farm, riding with a horse carriage, were offered to me, but there seem to be a bunch more... besides the amazing views of the mountains, awesome fresh air, the facilities are cosy and offer great relaxation. The host is amazing as well, a great guy, devoted to breeding a wide variety of authentic Slovenian breeds of farm animals! I hope to return as soon as possible for a longer period.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped and welcome drinks in the fridge were a really nice surprise. There was a pleasant garden with barbecue facilities that we didn’t use though, as the weather wasn’t great. Since we had bikes with us, we appreciated the possibility to store them in the garage, as well as the vicinity of the Alpe Adria cycling path which lies just a few hundreds of meters from the house. The owner was very friendly and caring, always trying to help with whatever we asked or needed.

The woman that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Made us feel very welcomed and always had a smile and a greeting The same woman was in the breakfast area and kept the breakfast area well stocked. There were many choices. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Location was close to trails with beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel. Lake Bled could be reached by car or trail. It was 30 km by trail. The restaurant on the other side of the road had delicious food.
