Amazing place. Of course you have to know what to expect, which is a rustic stay on the countryside, but while things are basic everything is clean and functions properly, and the atmosphere is unique. The staff treated our kids like family, playing with them and letting them help around the house :) also they were super helpful in organizing activities and travel arrangements. will definitely come again!

Wonderful place. Lovely beach, comfortable huts, delicious food, friendly staff. Bikes, kayaks and paddleboards are free to use. Kayaking through the mangroves, biking through the villages on the island, having a local beer at the beach, this place is like paradise.

Room was big enough and clean, with everything you need. Air conditioning working good even though it was not so hot, so didn't use it much. Matress and pillows are quite hard, but I kinda liked it that way and had a good rest there. Furniture is a bt old, but as I only stayed there 2 nights and spent most of the time during the day outside it's not really a thing that would bother me. WI-FI was working good. Pool was not in use at the time I was there, but was still nice to chill with some beers around the pool in the evening. Staff (I believe it's Lika and her family) was very friendly and helpful. As she went to Dakar on the same day I did she invited me to go with her driver to Mbour and from there we shared a sept-place to Dakar so it saved me a lot of time and money if I would have to do the trip alone. None of them speaks much English, but we managed to understand ourselves just fine with their little bit of English and my little bit of French. They organise various tours (I did half day Saloum Delta with Mar Lodj). Food was amazing and portions are huge; I don't know if there was a menu, Lika just asked what I want and she made it. Breakfast was also very good, even got some extra eggs. Location is super quiet, couple of 100m from the main road. There's no lights on the way in the night but I didn't feel unsafe.

Very friendly people and an authentic place in the mangroves. A tour through the mangroves is a must-have for every nature lover. An enormous variety of birds can be found there and if you are lucky you can also see dolphins. The view of the mangroves and the tides make the hotel a great place. There is a small jetty right near the hotel from which you can watch the sunset. The food is fresh, simple and delicious. Nothing is missing. We were treated well in English, although a good knowledge of French is generally useful for Senegal. A nice place to spend a few days!

It was a great stay! An affordable place, with all I need as a solo backpacker. Best of all is the staff: I interacted most with Djibril and Ara (apologies if misspelling) and they were really kind, friendly, caring and helpful with my questions, tips, organising an excursion, etc. There are two bedrooms with a shared patio and bathroom. It's convenient there is a restaurant to have some food and drinks right there, including breakfast.

Room was big enough and clean, with everything you need. Air conditioning working good even though it was not so hot, so didn't use it much. Very friendly people and an authentic place in the mangroves. A tour through the mangroves is a must-have for every nature lover. An enormous variety of birds can be found there and if you are lucky you can also see dolphins. The view of the mangroves and the tides make the hotel a great place. There is a small jetty right near the hotel from which you can watch the sunset. The food is fresh, simple and delicious. Nothing is missing. We were treated well in English, although a good knowledge of French is generally useful for Senegal. A nice place to spend a few days!

It was a great stay! An affordable place, with all I need as a solo backpacker.
