We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

The manager was extremely available and courteous; he even gave us discounts and offered us his own homemade beer. The bed was super comfortable and soft 🥹 best sleep.

A very welcoming manager, Ibrahim. He organized tours for us and arranged transport to another hotel. We also felt at home in this hotel, as the excellent chef prepared fresh and delicious meals based on our preferences. The entire staff was very attentive and helpful. The location is close to the boat dock, where tours to Shell Island are organized. We wish you success!

Location is quite and magnificent, staff super friendly, rooms are nice and Les Barracudas has a good kitchen. Great mangrove tours and other activities to do for everyone!! New Year’s Eve event with traditional music was the best we have had in years!

The hotel is located in a beautiful village next to a lake and the oldest tree in this region (it's very impressive to see). We stayed at les Fromagers because we wanted to visit the Fathala Wild life reserve that is close by. On our arrival we found out that there are so many other activities to do like going fishing, watching crocodiles, visiting the islands etc. The owner of the place are very friendly and helpful. We experienced their great hospitality and felt very comfortable during our stay. I can recommend you also to try out their restaurant, since you get very tasty seafood there, freshly caught by the local fisherman. We will definitely visit again, when we are in Senegal.

Everything! Celine is a total icon. She made us feel so at home that we are now considering moving to Toubacouta. The food, the room, the excursions - everything was made to suit us and every little detail was so thoughtful. What this wonderful couple don’t mention on their page is that they run a local NGO, helping the community through various ways. We plan to be back asap!
