Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Ko Kood

One of the best stays of my life. The bed smelt great, i was able to walk from the beach (25mins), staff rented out a great scoter for a decent price. Nice bathroom. The bungalow itself is fantastically well designed and looks so beautiful at night thanks to their gardening and design. I watched large lizards on the porch for hours 🍄

Our stay was perfect here in Baan Nara! They had all we ever needed and had two lovely huskies who were friendly and cute! Will stay here again when i come back to Koh Kood!

I want to add, that this hoster makes literaly the best breakfast on the island. So if were not lucky enought to book the house , make sure to arrive for the breakfast, honestly the best bannana pancakes!:) We stayed here 2 nights and then arrived for breakfast each morning after check out while in Koh Kood

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Everything was great …. The bungalow are spacious and really confortable , really the best we had in Ko Kood so far and we stayed here a long time … the family is indeed very very kind , willing to help eventhough communication is not easy in English , it worked well with translator and the younger daughter who is learning English … really such a sweet and caring family. Super clean, the lady comes every two days to change towels and clean… breakfast was a bonus with eggs , toast, fruits and coffee every morning , was great great great, so sad we had to lesve

Beautiful beach near like 5 minutes by feet, scooters can be rent there, calm and nice food.
