Levi and the Tinh family took great care of us, going the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay. We had a river-facing double twin room which was very clean and comfortable, recently fitted out to a high standard. Huge thanks to Levi's mum for the personal touch. Easy access to swim in the river, and a beautiful outlook from the breakfast balconies.

Staff super attentive and nothing too much trouble...bookings, rebooting and drinks and snacks. Eco lodges are that. Rustic and interestingly (in a good way) put together. Air con great and mozzie nets on beds... needed but not for mozzies. Shower and bathroom more than adequate.

I don't know where to begin. We had such a rough start to our trip to Phong Nha, when the bus we had originally booked on 12go scammed us and we were stranded in a bus station in Hanoi. To our luck, Gem the homestay host messaged me ahead of time earlier that day asking to message if I needed any help, and I definitely needed her help. She was amazing, she got us bus tickets to Phong nha within 10 mins of messaging and this bus dropped us off right at her doorstep. She didn't even take payment from us until we arrived at her homestay. In the morning, we woke up to a beautiful homestay location, her beautiful family and all the puppies! Gem and Tuan took care of us, taking us to Paradise Cave and even the Duck Stop with their own vehicle, and we had the most delicious food in all of Vietnam at their restaurant during lunch and dinner. When we told them our entire bus experience, they offered us a private car to Hoi An as that was our next destination and Tuan drove us himself the whole 8 hours. To say we are thankful is an understatement. We've met a lot of people during our many adventures, but they are the kind of people that stay close to heart even when the adventure is over. We still think about Gem and Tuan's kindness and hospitality towards us and we hope our paths cross once again some day. It was the shortest leg of our trip in Vietnam but by far the most amazing day we've had. Message to the hosts: thank you for everything. We hope we'll see you and your wonderful family again someday. We are telling stories of you to all of our friends and family and we cherish everything you've done for us. This review is on behalf of our group of 4.

We booked two nights at this place and it was extremely cheap! But still we had such a nice stay through those two days, the rooms were nice and an okay breakfast. The guy who owned the place didn’t know much English but that was no problem. We just used google translate and it was no biggie. He literally did so many nice things for us like getting dinner for us and driving us around the city for free. Top guy for sure!

We had an amazing experience at Little Rock Homestay! The location is right at the end of the main road so very quiet and peaceful, overlooking the river. Rooms are clean and spacious. Xuan was great, a friendly and kind host, she picked us up at arrival and helped with scooter rental and bus tickets purchase. Since we had a night bus, she even gave us a late check out! At the property is also available laundry service and food (the pancakes for breakfast were delicious and big portion!). It was sad to have to leave. We totally recommend this homestay!

Ecolodge has everything you need, everything you want. The owners are very kind, smiling and proposes everything you’ll need to have a great Time in Phong Nha. (Caves guided tour, free bikes, motorcycle location) Breakfasts are good, Vietnamese coffees are excellent ! Pool is definitely a plus ! Thanks again, we will gladly recommand you to others friends who would came here one day ! ☺️ (Nicest dogs and kids you’ll ever see 😃)

The staff was very helpful and kind. They organised our bus to the next location, allowed us to checkin very early in the morning at no extra charge, and booked motorbikes for us. They let us know where all the good restaurants were, the activities to do and where to get petrol/ how much to buy. The room was large with a big bathroom. It was super close to lots of restaurants and coffee places. Good breakfast too.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The food was delicious. We got a taxi from Dong Hoi and booked a bus to Hanoi through them which took a lot of the fuss out of travel and was cheaper than other Homestays charge. We also booked a taxi to the Botanical Gardens which waited for us whilst we hiked around and took us back with complimentary water. There were also some resident dogs which were very cute.

I enjoyed my stay at Tien’s homestay. I felt like they really took care of me like helping me plan for things to do as well as transportation to my next location. I enjoyed using the pool there also. On my last night I went out to grab some food and decided to go watch the moon. I was chased by a dog into a field and was scared to leave so I called Cuba up and he came out right away to save me! The customer service is unmatched!

A lovely homestay with very nice hosts, good location. They arranged us tours, we had a family dinner with other guests, it was a perfect socializing event :). They have cutest dogs :).
