During my recent trip to Sapa, I had the pleasure of staying at Zizi Homestay and taking part in the "Buffalo Trek" hosted by Zizi herself. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, with delicious home-cooked meals and warm hospitality. The highlight of my trip was definitely the "Buffalo Trek", which took us through the picturesque valleys and mountains of Sapa, with stunning views of the surrounding forests and farmlands. The trek was guided by Zizi and her team, who were knowledgeable about the local culture and customs. We even had the opportunity to ride a buffalo and experience traditional farming practices, which was a unique and unforgettable experience. The trek ended with a one-night stay in the forest, where we slept in tents under the stars and enjoyed a bonfire. Overall, I highly recommend Zizi Homestay and the "Buffalo Trek" for anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of Sapa in an authentic and unforgettable way.

Sa was very helpful and making sure we were looked after throughout our stay. He even came to bid us goodbye on his day off work. The rooms we stay has an amazing view to the lake. It was spacious and comfortable. It was a wow moment upon entering. A convenient place and short walk to Sapa Town. Very accommodative owner who allowed us to freshen ourselves before leaving the hotel in the evening back to Hanoi. Highly recommended.

The serenity of the place is amazing - somewhat separate from the hustle&bustle of the centre which is crowded with hotels, here one sits in a garden with flowers, vegetables (which are also used for dinner), kittens and puppies. The family is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. They have some really cute and friendly dogs and cats on the property. It’s a nice cosy home stay not too far out from town but by a nice rice terrace so you have a beautiful view.

The house, view, host family, and staff are amazing. I arrived early, and they got my room ready as soon as the previous guest checked out so I could check in early. There are dogs and cats, so you must be animal friendly and better not allergic, but they all are nice and like pets.

We love the place. Sadly it was hazy during our stay we were not able to watch movie and do the bonfire. The owner was very helpful arranging the pick up from the bus station. The place is 30 mins away from Sapa town. He also helped us arrange our tour around Sa Pa. We love his cat “Lux” and dog “Tot” those pets really touched our heart. They have fast internet as well so was able to work during our stay. 😊
