We booked one night at Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede for a quick stop during a road trip around Austria. Even though we arrived too late, Kim gave us all the facilities to enter the house without any problems. Ferienhaus Herrenschmiede is a very tastefully decorated house, with a great attention to detail in every corner. We were surprised by the number of amenities provided, with a wide range of possibilities for outdoor activities nearby, both in summer and winter. On top of that, after we found out we forgot a beanie at the house upon our departure, Kim very kindly offered to send it back to my address. All in all, highly recommendable accommodation in every aspects and we will surely make sure to come back if we get the chance.

The place is very quiet only with the calming sound of the nearby waterfall.

Just 600 metres from the Mölltal Glacier Express, at 1,200 metres above sea level in the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Alpenhotel Badmeister offers free use of its spa area featuring a sauna, steam bath, and... Great spring trip to catch some last skiing days. Never have been on spring glatcher, so we didn't know what to expect, and everything on the site was just a special and great treat. The hotel is very cosy. Family, that runs the hotel, is very very nice and communicate quickly. The chef is an artist! Meals are incredible. One of the best vaccationes we ever had and will come again next year.
