The boats that leave Copacabana to the island of the sun, leave at 8.00am and at 01.30pm The pictures don’t make justice to the view. And the owner is the sweetest lady ever that help you in any way she can. Probably the best place on the island.

From the hotel it is easy to set out on walks, and Yumani itself is one of the prettiest villages in Bolivia. The hotel staff was also very helpful in arranging boat transport around the island and to Copacabana. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was very good both in culinary and value for money terms.

Location is great as it's super close to the Sun temple in the South part of the Island Cristian and his mom Rosa were super welcoming and helpful. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Rooms have a balcony with mountain views. Had a really good stay here. The room is quite simple, but the view of the lake from the room and terrace is literally that of a five stary hotel. Very comfy bed, friendly owners, good breakfast. Isla del Sol is a beautiful place.

Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla is 2.6 km from the hotel. If you’re thinking about staying on Isla del Sol, YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE! A really lovely guest house! The room I stayed in, looked over the sea and I woke up early to watch sunrise from bed and it was magical!! The beds are really comfy and have lots of blankets to keep you warm as it gets chilly, a basic shared shower, which I thought was cold, until the manager came to turn on the hot water and it was delightful! The owners are really friendly and so happy to welcome you to their place.

Lucy who served breakfast has a lovely manner and is very polite. I stayed 3 nights and she changed my sheets and towels after the 2nd night which was a lovely touch.
