Especially the self-made cake was amazing. Nice views, beautiful common area and super friendly host! We borrowed snorkeling gear one day to go to the green lagoon which was amazing. We were very happy with everything!

It’s quiet and beautiful with several different places to sit outside amongst trees and next to the river. We stayed in the room with the kitchen inside and everything was perfect. The owner Leandro does an amazing job looking after his place and his guests. His helpfulness is exemplary.

The room is beautifully decorated and the garden is beautiful (loved the garden shower). I didn't meet the hosts but they were always available to answer on WhatsApp. I really enjoyed the fact that there was A/C in the room, and it was turned on before I arrived. There was also a fridge in the room.

Set in the nature with access by the sea through a private pier, this hotel is amazing. It is walking distance from the centre and the only way to get there is through a couple of beaches. Bring a torch for the night! The best thing about the hotel is the terrace where they serve breakfast and afternoon treats. There is also a pergola with a ping pong table and a pool table. The rooms are nice and clean and we got the one with the sea view and a small patio. The staff will go to great lengths to help you, they can organise trips for you and make you sandwiches to take away during the day. One day it has been raining for 24hrs and the electricity went off on the island but the hotel has its own generator so no problem with that. The hotel is able to organise any kind of trip and if I can give you advice I would go for private boat trips rather than the group trips. The laundry service works perfectly. Extremely quick and efficient service.

The rooms were nice and cool, protected by the verandah. The rooms were well equipped and the outdoor kitchen had everything we needed. Great place to enjoy home cooked meals with awesome company. The gardens are beautiful, a hidden oasis. There is a waterfall just next to the property where you can go for a dip. The owners, Barbara and Danny (English speaking) are really lovely and super accommodating. Wished we booked to stay for longer as it has by far been the best place we have stayed so far in Brazil - and very well priced!

Located on Ilha Grande, Abraãozinho Beach, Bonito Paraiso has two houses with a total o 9 rooms. Beautiful location, helpful staff, great breakfast, a really nice time was had.

Located on Praia Pequena da Freguesia de Santana beach, this guest house is surrounded by rich Atlantic Forest. It offers a rustic-style restaurant and bar, outdoor pool and hot tub. The property is magnificent. The rooms overseeing the ocean, you will sleep with the sound of the ocean. The breakfast is amazing, and the food at the restaurant is really good and affordable. The staff is really nice, always happy to help you and advise you in any activity you might want to do. Also padding in the morning to Laguna Azul and the beach nearby is a must. Also, the WiFi works perfectly in case you need to do some work.

We stayed three nights in Araçatiba and it was a magical experience! We were met with such warm hospitality from the moment we arrived off the boat. Lucas made our stay very comfortable, with his friendliness and excellent English! We liked the accommodation itself: the hot water was perfect and the air-con worked really well for the very hot day we arrived. Breakfast was also a plus for us with breads, eggs, ham, cheese, fresh fruit and yogurt! We enjoyed interacting with the friendly cats roaming the property - they have very gentle temperaments. There is an easy path into the main town with a some excellent restaurants! The village is small, but very peaceful and perfect for escaping the busyness of Abraão! Do not hesitate to stay here, it will feel like you have a new family in a tropical paradise!
