Un establecimiento muy agradable en un entorno ideal, buenos desayunos y amabilidad del personal, tuvimos un problema durante el trayecto al hotel el primer día y nos ayudaron a resolverlo perfectamente.

(Summer holiday). Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

El Hotel Waldegg - Adults only goza de una ubicación elevada orientada al sur en Engelberg. Ofrece vistas panorámicas a las montañas, zona de spa con piscina cubierta y restaurante. El trato que recibimos mi esposa y yo fue más que excelente, nos hicieron sentir especiales!!! El personal es super familiar, cálido, entrañable y amoroso. La comunicación siempre con una sonrisa sincera dibujada en los labios. Las instalaciones con una limpieza impecable te mostraba el esfuerzo del personal por mantener las instalaciones impecables. Los trabajadores del restaurante muy atentos y profesionales, también llenos de una energía maravillosa y una amabilidad excelentes, tanto en las noches como el desayuno y durante el día ❤️ Estoy muy agradecido por los preparativos para la cena de cumpleaños de mi esposa, se lo tomaron muy en serio y sin decir nada. Estamos totalmente satisfechos y en alguna ocasión regresaremos, seguramente 😉

Este hotel de 3 estrellas de estilo rústico se encuentra en una zona idílica, tranquila y soleada a las afueras de la localidad. The hotel was slightly out of town so it was lovely and quiet area. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

We came back to Sonnwendhof third time and it is always perfect! It is perfect welcoming, great rooms and astonishing views, very close to everything you might need, amazing breakfast with multiple choices and some very local products. I like how everything is decorated in the hotel and how ladies working at the hotel care about their guests. It is definitely one of the best family hotels in Switzerland. Engelberg guest card would be timely arranged. Free parking in front of the hotel. I guess we forgot to pay for the city taxi before leaving but my card was charged without any unnecessary stress.

I absolutely loved my stay. Despite the challenging journey to reach the town, it was truly worth it. The surrounding views are breathtaking, and the balcony view is nothing short of spectacular — honestly, one of the best I’ve ever seen. The room itself was exceptionally well-designed, practical, and incredibly cozy. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. Overall, the experience was entirely positive. The location is outstanding as well: you can see the mountain lift right from the window, and it’s only a 10-minute walk away. Highly recommended.
