Absolutely fantastic stay at this charming hotel!The location couldn’t be better—just 5mins walk way from the gondola,making it incredibly convenient for hitting the slopes every morning. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious fresh bread, local cheeses, and homemade jams—a perfect start to the day. What truly stood out was the warm and efficient service. Though the team is small, they were exceptionally attentive and made me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a special touch to our stay. Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi. Great view and friendly staff, the room is very clean too

Situated close to the ski lifts in Zermatt, Alpen Resort & Spa features a restaurant, and spacious rooms with cable TV. The entire property was amazing! We had a 4th floor suite with a balcony with an incredible view of The Matterhorn. The beds were extremely comfortable. The spa was awesome and included in the rate. The mini bar was nice as was the complimentary water provided. The hotel also provided robes, slippers and a spa bag for your convenience and comfort while enjoying the spa facilities. The staff were great and very friendly. We loved the included breakfast which was a fantastic selection. The smokers lounge was a nice touch and they have a small but great selection of cigars.

We loved that our room had a balcony and we could hear the river flowing outside. We also loved having a kitchen as meals in town were expensive so it was great to cook in a bit and have breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient to hiking, transit stops, shops and restaurants in town. The room was cozy but very well appointed and great for our group of 4 adults.
