Loved this little "inn" on the pedestrian walkway right outside numerous restaurants and souvenir shops and people watching galore. Hard to find so enquire with owner before arriving as your taxi can't drive you to door. Hotel is everything one would want with a comfortable bed/linens, free water, cleanliness a priority, view spectacular and friendly staff who were so helpful and even spoke English for extra understanding. I loved this place for the cost it was super. Stayed only 3 nights but would love to go back for more. Location was perfect for tours and walking to river for cruises. Don't miss the handmade yogurt shop two doors down for the best fresh fruit/yogurt with nuts you'll ever try. And Rosewood Cafe for some international food which like me you might be craving is you are a foreigner and tired of oily veggies and rice!

The accommodation features a kids' club, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. The whole experience was amazing. Location is the best in Guilin. Remote but on a lake and lovely to walk around it first thing in the morning or early evening. Both Melody and Cheng couldn’t have been more helpful. They assisted with trips, taxis and great advice. I also had an oil massage in my room and the therapist Huan was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building itself is very modern right on the waters edge. I will definitely be back as I found it most relaxing.

It was cold and the room and prepared to keep us warm even before our arrival. Beds had heating pads and their room for families with kids was amazing. Enough toys and things to keep a 4 year old busy throughout. Comfortable bunk bed with double bed on the lower deck and single on the upper deck. On the whole nothing to complain.
