Facing the beachfront, Casa Dos Almas offers 4-star accommodation in Guachaca and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. The property is located 42 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, 45 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum and 45 km from Santa Marta Cathedral. The property is allergy-free and is situated a few steps from Guachaca Beach. The location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We loved everything about it! The nature, activities and surroundings. The restaurant was amazing too!

Located on the beachfront, this property features a garden and a shared lounge. The apartment features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Great, affordable place. Along beach. Only one restaurant that is very close by. Shower had no hot water, but expected for the area. Keep doors and windows closed because many bugs in the area. Nice stay!

The lodge offers a continental or American breakfast. Polo has clearly built and handpicked everything in this finca with so much love and dedication. Located deep in the jungle, it offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature, with only sounds of the wildlife and a river nearby for a refreshing dip (and weirdly, the WiFi was still one of the fastest I’ve used in Colombia). The food is simply outstanding - the best I’ve had in months of traveling South America. Alvaro, the chef, mostly uses ingredients from the finca’s own farm, creating delicious, well-balanced, and creative dishes. The chocolate tour is a must—easily the best chocolate I’ve had in South America. Everything here feels real, organic, and unforgettable!

With garden views, Serrano Tayrona Lodge is situated in El Zaino and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden and terrace. The tented camp features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We have travelled around South America for the past 5 weeks and our stay at serrano glamping is the most unique and memorable stay that we have had in any location. Paulo contacted me as soon as I had made the booking, and he sorted out our transfer which cost around £30 from Santa Marta airport, and 3 mototaxis up the mountain for me, my wife and our big bag, which cost around £2 each. The location is so unique - accessed via a bridge over a river then up a mountain by walk or moto taxi up into the rainforest above. The accommodation itself was a beautifully unique glamping tent, with shower, toilet and comfortable beds with mosquito nets along with a beautiful balcony from which we watched lots of unique birds. In terms of cleanliness - it is the cleanest property we have stayed at on our travels. Paulo arranged our transfer to tayrona, which took around 5 minutes and cost £3. They gave us excellent advice for our visit to Tayrona - to go early and avoid the crowds, which really made our visit to Tayrona as we were there for doors opening at 7am and had the place to ourselves. Paulo and brune cooked for us both nights we were there, beautiful burgers the first night and chicken wraps the second. Fantastic, simple home cooking at its best from Brune. I cannot thank Paulo and Bruno enough, they are two of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of meeting and we were sorry that we couldn’t stay longer. I can’t recommend the property enough.

Situated in Buritaca, 48 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, Senderos del Mar - Tayrona features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The hotel has a terrace and garden views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Staff were exceptional, pool was lovely to sit and soak up the sun. Beach was only 15 minute walk away and there were some shops and restaurants 30 minute walk away. Varied food menu and all at reasonable cost. It was very quiet as we were there during off season but we loved that it was the perfect place to relax.

Located in Los Naranjos, 600 metres from Los Naranjos Beach, Casa Origen provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The property is set 36 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, 40 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum and 40 km from Santa Marta Cathedral. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Its an amazing place, with an excellent vibe. Viviana y Rosario are so good with the coocking and Enyer was kind as well as Liliana (the host). When you get to the beach after a 5 minutes walk you get a maevelous view of a private beach, and on top of the rock a nice bar called Sierra, where you can enjoy an impressive sunset over the river. The breakfast was delicious and the food at Casa Origen was really good too.

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The guest house provides garden views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The property was exactly as described, if not better. We got upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was amazing. The rooms are clean and they bring you fresh towels and extra pillows if needed. The food is exceptional - I recommend the wraps! The host is exceptional- spoke English which was really helpful for us and made us feel at home. Helped us with getting to the property and with getting to our next place! Couldn’t recommend it more

Set in Guachaca, a few steps from Guachaca Beach, Cayena by Masaya Collection offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. With a terrace, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar or a meal in the restaurant. We stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water. The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though). Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.
