What best defines this place is the amazing atmosphere created by the hosts. It’s something truly special, unlike anything we’ve experienced elsewhere. It genuinely feels like a home you become part of during your stay. There’s also the opportunity to see beautiful birds up close from the house’s terraces. The hosts were incredibly helpful in planning our days and recommending activities. Lastly, the fantastic breakfast deserves a mention—it kept us full all the way until dinner. We give this place our highest recommendation and would love the chance to visit again.

This is a special place, Chef Eyal is top notch, we’ll know and loved and his staff are incredible. We stayed the night and had the Chef’s Choice Tastings dinner which was 7 course + dessert and fabulous. Room was comfortable and we were accommodated with an extra kids bed upon request for our family of 4. Breakfast was also amazing, we felt like family and will definitely be back as this is our 3rd time through Lake Arenal area and we visit every year.

This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Hotel Nepenthe B&B is located 4 km from the Arenal Volcano National Park and 3 km from the Arenal Lake. It features a hot tub, sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free breakfast. The host was very understandable about a situation that we had and helped us, overall is one of the most relaxing and quiet places in front of the laguna del arenal, 10/10 recommended, entrance can be a little rough but any car can enter

The host was super friendly and helpful. There is a river/ stream next to the cabin that isn’t visible but you can hear it so clearly, the sound of the water was incredible! Will keep this place as a go to whenever I’m back 100%.
