Hotel was spotlessly clean, breakfasts were very good, the room had comfortable beds, tv with Netflix, a big fan, bathroom had soap and shampoo and a hairdryer but best of all, reception staff were VERY helpful.

There are some small shops where you can buy water/snacks just down the road. It’s about a 15-20min walk into the centre of town.

There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. What can I say? 11/10 score. The kindness of Miriam (and Luchito and Caballito) is unparalleled. I booked one night and staid for almost one month (!). Canelazo by the fireplace, empanadas, pizzas, homemade bread, cakes, bones for my dog Mango (!) and Italian coffee are just a few of the things that Miriam offered for free during my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, there’s parking for a few motorbikes or a camper van, the shared kitchen has all you need, the garden (with view of Tungurahua volcano!) is beautiful and was a great place for Mango to play :). Thank you for a wonderful time in Baños 🙏🏻

Set in Baños, Hostal D´Mathias has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. I love the hostel! It's 1 Min walk from the bus terminal, 2 blocks from the main Square and 10min walking from the thermal bath. Next to everything you Need, restaurante, shops, supermarket, Bakery. There are 2 nice big kitchens well furnished, fridge, microwave, space to store your food. They offer anytime free coffee, hot chocolate and different teas. Rooms are big enough, quiet, clean and they make your bed every day! Bathrooms always clean, clean towel with soap and shampoo given every day. The whole team Is absolutely great and Always available to help you with anything! Pamela knows a lot about tours too, they are also a travel agency, the best and cheaper in town! I booked with them rafting and I enjoyed so mucho! I've bene sick and Norma was sooo nice, taking care of me too! Carlos is also a great chill guy! I've stayed here almost 10 days! They have a terrace with pool but accessibile only until 7pm because there are rooms around.. possibility to do your laundry too!

Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. It offers spectacular mountain views, tropical gardens with BBQ facilities and charming wooden bungalows. This is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful hotel in Banos, built by two Ecuadorian-born German brothers in their former playground. The rooms are spacious, the freshly prepared breakfast is excellent, and the architecture respects nature, making you feel like you are in the forest, in a tree house, while enjoying a stay in a four-star hotel next to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the country. I absolutely adore this hotel, which is worth every penny; that is, the pricing is fair for the setting and service. I love this place. Staying in this hotel is an experience, rather than a mere stay. The brothers were also highly helpful gave excellent recommendations to the best driver in town and to the best spa (El Refugio), where we enjoy the cajon bano. Thank you so much for this stay!
