Villa Layla is more like a beautiful, charming mansion where every little detail is done with love and great taste. Berar, the amazing owner, and his lovely team make you feel like a VIP guest at a five-star hotel. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and full of heart. I’m currently traveling around Egypt, and I keep recommending Villa Layla to everyone I meet, I want others to feel this magic too. Honestly, I’m now thinking of changing my travel plans just so I can come back and spend one more night there before my flight. That’s how much I loved it. The brothers who run the hotel, Mizo and Mouffa, were great hosts! I arrived at 3.30am and they were awake waiting for me after sorting out a transfer from the airport, with a welcome drink waiting for me on arrival. They were really helpful in sorting out a tour guide for a few days for me, Islam, who was also fantastic. The rest of the staff were extremely polite and were available whenever needed. Mizo checked in everyday by WhatsApp to make sure everything was going ok which was a nice touch. The views from the rooftop are spectacular, and you get a great view of the nightly light show of the Pyramids. I’d definitely book again for the service alone, but the location next to the Pyramids can’t be beaten. The cost was more than reasonable, a true hidden gem!
