The location was absolutely perfect, such a gorgeous, scenic place that feels so secluded, but you're still super close to the town. The cabins are super cute and cosy, really clean, and have everything you possibly need. We sat out and ate all our meals on the little porch area and made use of the lovely hot tub during our stay. Just behind the cabin were 4 beautiful Highland cows who we were allowed to feed bread to (kindly supplied in mass by Sam) as well as all the other lovely animals on site (pigs, goats, rheas, alpacas and more). We had lots of treats waiting for us on arrival, too! We really couldn't fault our stay and we didn't want to come home just yet. Sam was super helpful and always on hand to answer any questions or help where needed. You can tell this is a family run business and that a lot of love and care goes into all the little details of your stay. We will absolutely be back for another visit and to feed Angus, Katrina, Peggy, Charlie, and Charlotte 💕

The room was very nice; looks to have been refurbished not too long back, and the bathroom was quite spacious. We were made to feel welcome (including the dog) and the bar/ dining room are cosy with a good atmosphere. We were fortunate that our stay coincided with a musical event one evening, which was really good. The breakfast/ food was all fine and small touches like miniature milk bottles in the room were appreciated.
