We loved our terrasse with olive trees. We could see the sunrise and in the evening lie on the shezlong and watch stars. Another amazing thing is a restaurant at the property. Great and fresh food, amazing stuff and wonderful atmosphere. A recommendation: get up earlier and go to the beach before a bus with the turists will come ☺️

It is a little gem and undoubtedly a luxury hotel with a unique style and a lot of attention to detail. I have to admit that it is the most gorgeous place we have stayed at so far and would love to go back. The building itself, the main entrance and the interior space are spectacular! The place is very comfortable, warm, inviting and impressive with its high ceilings, history and exclusive interior design including all the small details of high quality which make it obvious that the owners do care about their clients. The location is excellent, right at the heart of the old city and the old harbor and only a few minutes walk from the new town. Ms. Natasha whom we were in contact with is a lovely lady, highly professional, extremely helpful and very responsive. The check-in went smoothly even though we booked last minute, one hour before arriving at the hotel. We highly recommend it.

There are some challenges with car access, but it’s definitely one of those memorable experiences — in a good way. The sound of the church bells on Sunday morning takes you into a different reality. We loved the location, the authentic Cretan vibe, the hospitality from Veronika, great view from the balcony and overall just felt like we were part of the community. Restaurant at the bottom of the hill, MamaLoukia was great.
