The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful from the start, giving us great tips not only for popular spots but also hidden gems we’d never have found on our own. They even arranged a delicious dinner for us at a local family’s home in the village, which was such a special experience. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. Waking up to those views was simply unforgettable. Their sweet dog also made our stay even more enjoyable 🩷 What really touched us was their dedication to the local community, they’re planning to open an eco-school for locals, which is a truly inspiring project. Hopefully, we’ll get to return one day and see it completed 🙂 Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for something unique. Thank you for everything ☺️

The room was absolutely gorgeous, the bed and the bathroom and the whole facility all incredible. The location right on the beach was perfect, seeing the sunrise over the mountain and then being able to walk into the water and snorkel on the most beautiful reef. Herman was very helpful too. Best place we stayed at on our whole trip, will be coming back!

We loved our stay here. The owners are some of the sweetest people we have met travelling across Asia in the past 5 months. They speak fantastic English, cook fantastic food, have a very kind and sweet family, have very cute cats and helped us book a last minute Rinjani trek! They even provided us with head lamps and gloves for the trek free of charge. The room is basic, but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. And anyone complaining when the price point is so low is frankly delusional in my opinion. This place is fantastic. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Boasting a garden and views of river, Stay Together is a recently renovated homestay situated in Tetebatu, 13 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest. Such a loving and caring family. The room was very fresh and new with a very powerful ceiling fan to cool the place off. Being in the middle of a rice field was a very unique experience. It was very quiet and peaceful. Egi and Ika were so kind and helpful with whatever we needed. Ika's cooking was exceptional. They sure fed us well! The kids were so sweet and fun to play with. We had a blast singing along with Egi while he played his guitar, he is so talented and so it was so nice to end the night that way. The tour options were great and we loved the bamboo spot. We were able to schedule a ride to Bangsal with Egi. Thank you for being our home away from home and filling our hearts up on our trip. You guys are the best and we love you so much.

It was the best place that I stayed in Indonesia. The room is simple but really comfortable, and the views are amazing and beautiful. The place is also really clean!. Awan, Nip and Sukma (their kid) were amazing, Awan showed me around the rice fields for free, and told me about local farming and local traditions. Nip was so nice to me and all the guest, her food was from another world, great breakfast, dinner and lunch. Sam (staff member) was also incredible too, he helped me organize my trip to Rinjani, and made my stay really awesome. Please come here, you won’t regret it!!

Situated just 500 metres from Gili Air Beach, Lasai Villas provides accommodation in Gili Air with access to an infinity pool, an open-air bath, as well as a 24-hour front desk. New, spacious, beautiful villas just a 3 minute walk from the beach. We originally had booked another hotel on Gili Air, but after one night decided to change due to noise from construction and rusty water filling the bath. Ari and his team welcomed us and had our villa ready within 30 minutes of booking. When staying on remote islands with limited infrastructure, I have found you typically have to temper expectations just a little, but this was not the case at Lasai. We were in villa 1, an absolutely beautiful room with cold AC, sparkling pool, soft and comfortable mattress, and plenty of hot water for a nice relaxing bath. The photos on the website don’t do it justice! Very well insulated so you can’t hear the Muslim prayers at 0400, and light blocking shades ensured a restful sleep. Daily breakfast was served in the villa and a filtered water cooler made our stay extra comfortable, and the mini bar had great wine and other soft drinks. No request was too much trouble and they always replied quickly via WhatsApp. Another review mentioned the ‘delicate’ robes. I wore the robe daily, it was SO comfy and soft, and very well made. This place will forever be our go-to on Gili Air!
