The kitchen was very well equipped, a very nice and thoughtful welcome package (included toothbrushes!) was waiting for us on arrival. Angela was wonderful and helped us with all our questions. It’s a spacious property with a nice garden area for when the weather is good. Cleanliness thoughout was excellent. We used it as a base to explore lots of the coast of Kerry and west Cork. All in all a lovely place to stay at and we’d love to come back.

It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well stocked with kitchen equipment, etc. It had everything we needed. It’s in a beautiful quiet location looking out over the sea. The owner was pleasant to deal with. It was nice to have scones left for us when we arrived.

The host was very welcoming and made our stay relaxing , breakfast was well thought through and lovely . A great place to stay to explore the Bera peninsula .

He called us to make sure we were on our way and made sure that the house was warm and cozy for our arrival. The views from the property are beautiful 😍 My family, including the dog, had a fab time.

Excellent location , the pods had everything you needed and had direct access onto a little private pebble beach . 5 min drive to castletownbere and about 20 back to glengarriff . Restaurant on site , beautiful views and quiet and peaceful . Kids loved it

Overlooking Bere Island and Berehaven Harbour whilst surrounded by trees and nature, Berehaven Lodge offers a private beach area. The location was perfect, within easy reach of the town. The lodge had a beautiful view. It was a very good size, comfortable and had almost everything you needed. It was a bit tired but felt like home. I liked that we could use the fire and bring our own Christmas tree. Sheila is very helpful.

His wife and him live just nextdoor, so if you need anything, they can help you. There are actually two bathrooms (one has only a toilet, and the other one a toilet and a shower), which is quite useful if there are more people staying in the cottage.

So quiet which was perfect for restful nights and lazy mornings. Ardnagashel Estate is so central for exploring all the surrounding areas, Beara Peninsula, Glengarriff, Gouganebarra, Kealkill, Bantry. LOVED IT.
