On the shores of Killary Harbour lies Ireland's oldest coaching inn. Dating from 1796, you'll find traditional home cooking, antique furniture and the most spectacular views in Ireland. The hotel was beautiful in an awesome location. The room was spotless, and breakfast was phenomenal. I was shocked that a breakfast this wonderful was included with the stay! We also had dinner in the restaurant and the mussels were the best I’ve ever had.

Beachfront Location: The Furthest Point West in Ballyconneely offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests can enjoy sea and mountain views from the property. Lovely place and very friendly owners.

Our stay at Connemara Haven was absolutely perfect. Christian is true proffesional with a very warm approach. The accomodation was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Quiet, peaceful location with a lovely view. I can never make fried eggs like Christian :). We ´d love to return for sure.

Deirdre and Greg are the most welcoming hosts. The room was clean, especially the bathroom which was newly renovated and had plenty of space, extra tables for the stuff. The bed was amazing! King size which we didn’t expect and fine mattresses. Breakfast was beyond delicious!!! Freshly cut mango, orange and fruit salad. Plenty of cereals, a big menu from which you could choose freshly made Irish breakfast choices. Awesome! We even got trip advices on our way to them. Very helpful!

Standing at the head of Cashel Bay, this hotel is set in 50 acres of award-winning gardens and woodlands. Cashel House offers luxurious bedrooms, fine dining and a private beach. What a gem! After several days of traveling, this place was the perfect spot to unwind and treat ourselves. From the spacious room to the lovely patio and the exquisite restaurant, everything was wonderful. The house itself is steeped in history and offers much to explore. The staff were exceptionally friendly and we really appreciated the manager's offer to lend us a charging cable for our car.

In all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ardagh Hotel. The service was fantastic throughout — warm, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was a highlight: breakfast was included and served à la carte with a lovely selection, and we also had a very nice dinner there. The food was excellent, and the view over the lake made the experience even more special. Our room was spacious, with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. A truly relaxing and memorable stay — we would happily return!
