There was a fire lit in the fireplace. Mike told us the wonderful history of this place and his family. I will recommend it to everyone. A wonderful place where you can feel the breath of history.

Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

Once acclimated the location proved excellent.. A comfortable drive to Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle. A nice and affordable golf course nearby and and a beautiful lake for boating and fishing just down the street. Also a boxing club and football club in town. The town of Oughterard had a few nice Pub's and a grocery that was well stocked. Our host Christian was great and his new puppy Emily couldn't be more adorable

Port Aran House is one of the island jewels for sure. The help-yourself breakfast is amazing . It’s close to town and a nearby good restaurant. We came on the afternoon ferry and immediately rented a couple of bikes for the afternoon from Aran Bike Hire who took our bags to PAH. Kevin arranged for us with luggage to get to the ferry. A magical visit.

The charming house, the wonderful hosts, the huge comfortable bed with fluffy quilt, the yummy breakfast, the excellent meal recommendation nearby and the local The Earl Inn for a nightcap. Leroy´s Lodge nhìn ra hồ, có Wi-Fi miễn phí và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí, tọa lạc ở Headford, cách Ballymagibbon Cairn 9.2 km. Everything was amazing, starting with the staff. Bernhard and Petra were lovely and stayed up late to wait for us on the first day as we were delayed. Additionally they were amazing with our pet, Pilou. They prepared the room (extremely roomy) with extra bowls for water/food and a pet bed that Pilou loved! Breakfast was very tasty and diverse. The location was easy to reach by car and is amazingly quiet and pretty. You have views on the lake and a big fenced field in the back for pets that Pilou loved playing in with their pets (Special nod to Barnaby and Leroyd :D) Another thanks go to Petra and Bernhard for taking the time to discuss with us and answer our (very many) questions about Ireland and the process of moving there. If you’re searching for a place where you and your pet can unwind, connect, and make unforgettable memories, look no further than Leroy's Lodge. There was no breakfast and usual coffee and teas were provided. It was the perfect stay for me even though it rained and was cold. Would have loved another night there, and Ursula answered all my questions
