Leaba on the Lake was the perfect place for our stay in Killaloe. Check in was easy, Ann is a helpful and responsive host, and her apartment is in an ideal location for exploring the town and beyond. We loved the added thoughtful touches of fresh soda bread when we arrived, as well as coffee, milk, butter, and homemade jam. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is very comfortable, so we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

One of the kindest, warmest and the sweetest hosts I've come across. This was my very first solo trip and I felt right at home. The most special part about the stay was not only its beautiful location but the house itself. You can feel the love and care that has gone in it as soon as you enter. Each room had beautiful artwork by Elaine. The house literally had everything I could think of! There are three bedrooms and each had it's distinct character! The garden is massive and absolutely breathtaking. My host Brian and Elaine were extremely gracious and even invited me to their home! I also got to meet their very cute little dogs. Inspite of a family emergency and not being well himself, Brian picked me up from the Limerick junction! He even gave me a very informative tour of Limerick and told me really interesting local stories. I wouldn't have been able to know Limerick like I do without Brian! It was home away from home and I'd always cherish it.
