Our room had a lovely gallery space where we could apreciate the surrounding nature and be protected from the wind. Exceptional. We were in front of the Kerry Cliffs, and were separated from Portmagee by a lovely 25-min-walk country road with little to no traffic. I can’t imagine a better location :) Mary was not just a host, she is a kind attentive person, always available and intuitive about what we could need.

We went before Christmas and a nice surprise was to find a beautiful Christmas tree in the cottage. We loved our stay there.

The view from our room was one of the best of the places we stayed in Ireland. The full Irish breakfast was lovely, and a reasonable price. Would recommend Valentia Island and Horizon view to people vacationing in Ireland.

Doughlasha Hs is a BB in Fossa Killarney, Co.Kerry V93 RX64. We are 10 min drive from Killarney town Center. A car is required. We are 20 min drive from Cronin’s Yard main starting point for Climbing Carrauntoohil. We are also 10 min drive from Gap of Dunloe. We are on the Dingle Road, 1 hour drive to Dingle. We are also close to Ring of Kerry road. There is a pub 2min drive down the road called the Golden Nugget where food is served daily. Make sure you put in Eircode V93RX64 when looking for us or Doughlasha Hs, Fossa, Killarney

STRICKLY ONLY SMALL DOGS ALLOWED TO DOUGHLASHA HS, if large dogs arrive they will not be allowed in room. Fee of 10 euros for dogs per night. The hostess was very hospitable and welcoming!
