Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was perfect. Beautiful view, nice location. Room was good size, bed was comfortable not too soft.

This hotel is quietly situated 2 km from Lake Mývatn and 30 minutes’ drive from the Godafoss Waterfall and Krafla Crater. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with modern furnishings. we signed up for northern lights alerts and they tapped on the door when the lights were sighted! Very appreciated. Dinner was terrific and the breakfast was generous. Beautiful location!

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. New building. Spacious common area and large sparkling modern kitchen. Including washer/ drier so you can do laundry while preparing a meal. Ready for a large group. Large bedroom and bathroom with shower. The bedroom opens to a deck. There may be a view. All we saw was snow and fog/ cloud. Iceland was having a late winter to mid-April.

This is a truly lovely house where you immediately feel part of a family. We were delighted by the warm reception and the cozy, homely atmosphere. The location by the lake is stunning, offering beautiful views. In summer there are many midges, which can be a bit annoying, but that’s the trade-off for such a scenic lakeside setting. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped—you’ll find everything you need, and even some thoughtful extras like coffee and pasta left for guests. It really felt like staying at our grandparents’ home, full of comfort and warmth. A very strong recommendation, especially if you are traveling as a family. We absolutely loved it.
