Grund in Ólafsvík ligger i Ólafsvík. Der er privat parkering på stedet og gratis wi-fi. An ideal apartment for 2 couples. Everything we needed and a terrific location to spend some time in the region. Highly recommend this place.

Hótel Karólína ligger i Stykkishólmur og har et fælles opholdsområde. Her er en solterrasse, gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Super cute! All the shared areas were welcoming and our individual room was very nice, they even have a towel warmer in the bathroom. The location is perfect and the town is so quaint. We found out that we needed to make a reservation for dinner because there are only 3 restaurants we were told. We thought because the busiest season was over that we would be ok, but I guess not when the options are limited. Which makes sense. You check in for this stay is at red barn looking building across the street. When you check in she can make you a dinner reservation if you didn’t do so ahead of time. We ate at Narfeyrarstofa just 2 doors down. It was so cozy and the food and atmosphere were outstanding! We also paid extra to have them make us breakfast in the morning. It was well worth it! It was delicious and the presentation was picture perfect ! We had a great night in this picture perfect little town and it was a great place to stay before we headed to the westjfords. You can also take the ferry from here to the westjfords if you’d like.

Eiði Farmhouse ligger i Grundarfjörður og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi og have med en terrasse og havudsigt. Der er et fuldt udstyret fælles badeværelse med badekar og en hårtørrer. The location is perfect. And it is the dreaming farmhouse with great pastureland in the backyard. The room is very clean and bed is comfortable. The owner is very friendly and even showed us how to milk the cow. There is a baby lamb around us, the owner even let me to bottle feed the baby lamb. It is a great experience for our trip in Iceland. Definitely recommend this to anyone wants the great traveling experience in Iceland!

Sólheimar Studio Apartment ligger 16 minutters gang fra Pollurinn Hot Spring og tilbyder en have og grillfaciliteter samt indkvartering med gårdhave og gratis wi-fi. was very comfortable with extra efforts made for guests such as supplying us with laundry detergent, tea, coffee. Our host was lovely, asking us multiple times in our four night stay if we need anything (she lives above with her family). Couldn’t of asked for a nicer stay. Plus a very short walk into the town center. Thank you for making our trip that much better!

Erpsstadir Cottage ligger i Sauðafell, Vestisland og har en gårdhave. Dette feriehus har en have, grill, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. The cabin is located on a farm, set apart on a hill. It’s a few hundred meters away from the farm, making it very quiet. Sheep roam around the cabin and are friendly enough to be petted. In front of the entrance, there’s a hot spring tub, and the hostess had already prepared the bath for us (which isn’t always the case). All the necessary daily items were provided, including a dishwasher, hairdryer, washing machine, and a dryer (with quick-dry programs and even one for 6 hours). There’s also a smart TV. The cabin has three bedrooms, each with space for two people, and one room has a double bed. The curtains are a lovely red, and the bedding was clean. All toiletries were also available. There is internet access. The cabin also has guides to Iceland. At the farm, you can see and even pet animals, and there is a shop selling meats, cheeses, ice cream, and other products. I regret not buying meat for dinner there, as both the cheeses and meats were cheaper and of better quality compared to the supermarket, and the ice cream was delicious.

Bjarney and Manuel were helpful and courteous. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Calm atmosphere and a clear sense of care in every detail.

Lucy's Apartment ligger i Borgarnes. Denne lejlighed har udsigt til by og hav. Her er også gratis wi-fi. Property was easily located. Once inside very clean and comfortable. Many “extra” details noted including charging area, some toiletries. Soft towels. The sofa bed converted easily and was large and comfortable. Would be great as a low key getaway but also a nice home base for a small family. Games, maps and information on area attractions all available. We easily could have done much of our touring from there.
