The rooms are nice and spacious. We just stayed for 2 nights, but could have stayed longer (but didn t had the time). We could have bicycles for free, I mean they not great but ok to get to Vat Phou. The restaurant is really good, Really enjoyed the food and luckily they had nice vegetarian options. Very helpful staff, organized our tickets to Don Det easily.

And I don't want to go on about the good food and how excellent Laymon and Alex are, because I should write a book. I should clarify that it's easily accessible by boat, so there's no question of whether staying on a small island is a problem, because it isn't!

What a great place to stay on the magical island of Don Det. The room was great and the bed was comfy. Room also comes with air conditioning if selected. You have a great private balcony that you can watch the sunset from daily. You can rent all of your travel plans and all excursions right from the hotel for a low price. The location is great due to being on the opposite side of the island from the port. You can still get over to all the party bars in just a 5 min walk but you don't have to hear the action from your room. My wife got sick while in Don Det and the staff did everything to make our stay as good as possible including letting us add an extra night last minute for a very fair rate. Top notch place and very relaxing

The staff is so nice and takes care of you :) The food is so delicious, the bed is super cozy, and you must try to dip in the waterfall in front of the room after a long day of travel. It’s soooooooooooooo perfect to finish the day.

DON DET Souksan Sunset Guesthouse and The Xisland Riverview Studio ligger i Ban Donsôm Tai og har en have, terrasse og bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The location couldn't be beat: Right on the very tip of the island with beautiful sunset views, a cooling breeze, and lovely hammocks right outside the rooms and under a big tree for during the day when it was hot. Also has nice gardens, and it's private, and quiet. Xai is delightful as are all the staff. A special note: They provide cold water in a dispenser in the restaurant. It is much appreciated that I did not have to use the plastic bottles provided!!! Thanks Xai and y our family for caring about the environment.!

Pan guest house Donkhone ligger i Ban Donsôm og har en have, terrasse og bar samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Værelserne har en balkon. Alle værelser hos pensionatet har kaffemaskine. Of the area it was to us the best — a pristine pool and a nice shaded area on the river for watching the sunset. Breakfasts were generous and the staff super helpful (with excellent English). We walked to the two different waterfalls on different days, and it’s easy to pop over the bridge to Don Det. Lots of restaurants in the area, too. Dry relaxing

Close to everything but still private. Laundry and bike rentals right there. Go eat at tevendang restaurant. On other side on the way to the bridge. Her food and kindness are amazing.

1918’s HOSTEL ligger i Pakxe, 2 minutters gang fra Wat Luang, og har gratis cykler, en have og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Very quiet and clean hostel. I have stayed only one night in preparation for the loop and I have slept very well. The beds are very confortable. After the loop they also let me use the shower and relax in the common area before taking a night bus.
